Important notice: Deprecation of the desktop client by April 2025
Starting on April 1, 2025, we’ll be retiring our desktop client and fully transitioning to the aqua web client. This change is part of our mission to provide you with a faster, more reliable, and feature-rich experience.
Why Are We Making This Change?
Our shift to a web-only client isn’t just about simplifying platforms—it’s about delivering a better experience for you. Here’s why we’re excited about this move:
Accelerated development: With 45-50% faster development cycles, you’ll see new features and improvements sooner than ever.
Improved reliability: Fewer platforms mean fewer bugs and maintenance needs, resulting in a smoother, more consistent user experience.
New capabilities: We’re unlocking system updates and features that weren’t possible before, setting the stage for enhanced functionalities.
Faster feature rollouts: By focusing on the web client, we’ll be able to deliver updates and new features twice as fast.
Key features moving to the web client before the sunset of the desktop client
We know how important certain features are for your day-to-day operations. Before we say goodbye to the desktop client, we’re making sure that the following critical tools are available in the web version:
Scheduling of Test runs in Test Scenarios
Ranorex agent
JMeter agent
SoapUI agent
Export of large reports
Support for scripts
While this covers the essential tools, we understand that some of the features you rely on might not be available immediately.
Please know that we’re committed to continuously enhancing the web client and are grateful for your patience during this transition.
We’re confident this move will provide you with a more seamless and efficient experience, and we can’t wait to roll out even more improvements.
