# System log

Aqua administrators can view the system log to see what administrative tasks have been performed. To view the system log, click on the Configuration menu in the top left corner of the aqua header ![](http://aquawiki.andagon.com/pictures/drex_system_log_custom.png). Next, select the 'System log' option. This will display the global and local system logs.

**The Global System Log** shows global changes, such as changes to User Management, and is therefore only available to users configured as the Server Administrator.

**The Local System Log** shows changes made to projects, for example, changes to project configuration, folder creation/deletion/renaming or removal of given items within the project. If you wish to see the changes only within the particular folder, please select it from the list.
