# App language

When you create an account, aqua checks your browser language and automatically offers you the demo project and interface either in German (if you have German language set) or in English.

If you want to change interface lanaguge later on, you can do it from your Account profile.

Click on the user avatar first and when the sidebar appears, click on the 'Change language' button.

Then select preferred option and click the 'Save' button

Once you save it, the selected option will be applied.

{% hint style="info" %}
Please note, that currently aqua has only German and English localisations. If you select the 'Browser language' option, and your browser language is *e.g. Chinese*, then English will be set as a default lanaguge.
